Australia, a vast and diverse continent, offers a unique blend of natural wonders and cosmopolitan cities. Known for iconic landmarks like the Sydney Opera House and the Great Barrier Reef, Australia is a land of stark contrasts – from the bustling streets of Sydney and Melbourne to the remote beauty of the Outback and the pristine beaches of the Gold Coast, it caters to all types of travellers.

Australia means a lot to us, a country we arrived in nine months before a global pandemic, the one in which our beautiful daughter joined us in the world and one which has looked after us with down-to-earth friendliness ever since.

A country which has it all – from some of the world’s best cities, to ancient rainforests, coffee culture to the Red Centre.

I want to acknowledge the Yalukit-Willam people who are the traditional custodians of the land I live on and on which I am writing this article today. I pay respect to their elders past, present and future for the wisdom they have passed down for thousands of generations.pay my respects
